Vocal Harmony Creation: You can easily create 3rds, 5ths, or full choir layers by cloning a lead vocal and shifting the note data within the plugin.
Seamless Integration: It supports a drag-and-drop workflow where you can move audio directly from the FL Studio Playlist into NewTone and send the edited version back without needing to export or render. Newtone Plugin Fl Studio Download

What is Newtone?
Newtone is a pitch-correction and time-stretching plugin developed by Image-Line, the creators of FL Studio. Unlike auto-tune plugins that process audio in real-time as it plays, Newtone is a pitch editor. It allows you to see the pitch of your audio (vocals, monophonic instruments) as a graph and manually or automatically correct the notes.
It functions similarly to Celemony’s Melodyne but is integrated seamlessly into the FL Studio ecosystem.
Step 3: Correction
- Auto-Tune Mode: Click the "Auto" button. Use the slider for speed. Moving it fully right snaps notes to perfect pitch (robotic effect); moving it halfway leaves natural expression.
- Manual Mode: Click the center of a note blob. Drag it vertically to the target line. Hold Shift to move horizontally (time shift).
Step 3: Editing the Pitch
- Manual Correction: Click on a note block and drag it up or down to change the pitch. Snap-to-key features ensure the note lands on a semitone.
- Global Changes: Double-click the background to select all notes. You can then use the "Pitch Correct" knob (top right) to automatically snap all notes to the nearest semitone. This creates the famous "T-Pain" or robotic sound if set to 100%.
- Timing: If a vocalist came in too early or too late, drag the note block left or right to align it with the beat.
4. Advanced Features
- Pitch Graph: Click inside a note to open a detailed pitch contour graph. Here, you can smooth out shaky vibrato or flatten a run.
- Timing Quantization: Select multiple notes > Right-click > "Quantize timing" to sync off-beat vocals to the grid.
- Formant Preservation: Keep the natural character of the voice even when shifting pitch drastically (great for male-to-female vocal tricks).
